2 1/2 c. (591 ml) Flour (all purpose, or wheat)
1 t. (5 ml) Baking Powder
1/2 t. (3 ml) Salt
8 T. (118 ml) Unsalted Butter (cut up)
1/4 c. (59 ml)Granulated Sugar
2/3 c. (156 ml) Cream or Milk
Preheat Combi oven to 400° F (204 C) in combination mode. In a food processor put flour, Baking Powder, Salt, and sugar, pulse to combine. Pulse in the butter and while running add cream to form a dough, do not over mix. At this point you can fold in flavorings (this dough can be flavored with nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, candied ginger, etc.). Form dough into a round, roll out and cut into small rounds, or roll out into a big round and cut into wedges.
Bake for 15 min. or until medium brown on top.
Serve with fruit preserves.
