We’re thrilled to showcase our products at the 2018 National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago from May 19 to 22. Held at McCormick Place – the largest convention center in North America – this year’s show is expected to be the biggest ever. With more than 66,000 foodservice professionals on the show floor representing countries around the world, it’s an essential event for the restaurant and foodservice industry.
We’ll be hosting live cooking demonstrations all weekend, so attendees can see (and taste!) the benefits of our food service equipment solutions. We'll be holding demonstrations with our Vector® Multi-Cook ovens, Cook & Hold ovens, Combitherm® combi ovens and more.
New and Revolutionary Vector Multi-Cook Ovens
Stop by and see our new line of Vector Multi-Cook ovens in action. During the show, we will be harnessing all four oven chambers to produce delicious appetizers and entrees throughout the day. Chef Simon will operate our Combi Station, delivering a complex menu that takes full advantage of the Combitherm’s versatile cooking modes. From shrimp and asparagus salad to seared salmon filet to cold smoked nuts, our combis can do it all!
Chef Robert will also run a Quick Service Restaurant Station, showcasing dishes and equipment designed to meet the needs of convenience stores and fast food businesses. Stop by to see how Alto-Shaam equipment can not only cook, but also hold menu items such as burritos, cookies, biscuit sandwiches, corn dogs and chicken tenders to perfection.
You can find Chef Kristina in our Small Space Solutions Station. She'll show you how to maximize your kitchen space with equipment from Alto-Shaam. Her menu items include a chicken bacon ranch wrap, Reuben pork sandwiches, mini berry galettes, brownie waffle bowls and more!
Chefs Nic and Alejandro will be showing attendees how to expand their menu and feature international dishes with the Original Cook & Hold Ovens. Stop by their station to try menu items like cochinita pibil, Greek octopus stifado or porchetta. All of these dishes will be cooked with Halo Heat® technology, which provides increased yields, better food quality and big flavor.
We’ve also invited our close friend, Charlie the Butcher, to cook his famous “beef on weck” sandwiches. Three decades ago, Charlie befriended Alto-Shaam founder Jerry Maahs at a foodservice trade show, where he discovered the Original Cook & Hold Oven.
