Brown Rice prepared in a Cook & Hold Oven

Ingredients

Starting State:  Scratch
2" Steam Pan Covered
  • 4 cups Brown Rice
  • Stock

Preparation

Preheat Temp:  300° F
Cook Temp:  300° F
Probe Time:  45 min
Hold Temp:  160° F

1. Preheat Cook & Hold Oven to 300°F
2. Place 1 part rice to 1 liquid into pan
3. Cover pan
4. Place 1 cup of water in drip pan
5. Place pan in Cook & Hold Oven
6. Cook at 300°F for 60 minutes
