Chef Ana Luisa Toro, current executive chef at GlobeItalia in Santiago, Chile, has over ten years of experience in the foodservice industry. As a level 1 rep chef for Alto-Shaam, Ana supports locations throughout Latin America.
Ana has extensive knowledge regarding large-scale food production, the design and implementation of restaurants and botique hotels, product development and providing cooking demonstrations.
During her time in the industry, Ana has taken on many different responsibilites and roles in order to expand and share her foodservice knowledge. Besides having the role of executive chef at many different locations, Chef Ana has also been in charge of recipe development and creation (with a focus on pastries and desserts), supplier negotations and cost control, creating educational workshops, and training.
