You haven’t tried Peruvian cuisine until you have tried it from the kitchen of a true Peruvian. Chef Roberto, who has been cooking since he was 11, is a true artist when it comes to food and has perfected his craft in Peru, Argentina and Mexico.
Chef Roberto moved to the UAE in 2011 to open Toro Toro at the Grosvenor House as a sous chef. While in his tenure he met the Trade and Investment Office of Peru in the UAE and has been taken on board as Culinary Advisor, a position he has held since 2011 and has assisted with events such as Taste of Peru 2013-15 and Peruvian Catering in Gulfood 2012-15.
He has since also held the position of executive chef at The Act Dubai where he has won awards such as “Best Experiential Dining Venue” and “Best Latin American Restaurant in Dubai” by the BBC Good Food Middle East. Currently the group executive chef at 3 Capital Hospitality, there seems to be no stopping this passionate Peruvian chef.
