Chef Tom Scalley has more than 40 years of experience in the foodservice industry. From a young age, he began working in the front and back of the house in several different family businesses. Today, you can find Tom stirring up excitement in Silver Eagle Marketing’s test kitchen. Prior to joining Silver Eagle in 2005, Tom owned and operated a deli/catering business in Annapolis, MD.
Tom received his Alto-Shaam rep chef level 2 certification in 2015.
Tom remains active by organizing charitable functions for his church and children’s school. One of these events is an annual bull roast with guest totals of up to 500. Production is simplified with full use of all of the Alto-Shaam equipment here at Silver Eagle’s test kitchen.
Tom is responsible for providing a captivating food experience by demonstrating and training Alto-Shaam equipment to perspective customers. With Silver Eagle’s presence in the Chesapeake Bay area Tom is able to produce some of the best broiled Maryland crab cakes and steamed shrimp from the Combitherm oven.
