Employee Health

We continue to increase proactive measures to protect our employees and community. Alto-Shaam is advising all employees to follow prevention guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) to ensure the health and safety of our employees, their families and our customers, including:

Employee needs: Our employees have varying needs during this time, and we have increased flexibility to support employees and their families. Work options include: Employees are equipped to work from home as their job allows. Employees are encouraged to stay home if they are sick and use paid time off (PTO), or they may choose to take unpaid time.

Social distancing: Common area usage in break rooms and the lunchroom is discouraged and meetings have been limited to 10 people, with 6’ of distance required.

Facility: Alto-Shaam maintains a rigorous, ongoing cleaning schedule. All frequently touched objects are disinfected regularly, including workstation equipment, hand tools, tables, surfaces, carts, door handles, and more. We continue to closely monitor our facilities and employee needs daily and are prepared to react quickly should it be needed.
