Alto-Shaam has announced recent efforts to continue its growth and investment in India.
During AAHAR, the flagship food and hospitality event in the region, Alto-Shaam will partner with regional dealers to showcase Alto-Shaam’s award-winning Vector® H Series Multi-Cook Ovens. Featuring exclusive Structured Air Technology® Vector ovens cook twice as much food up to two times faster than traditional counterparts. The patented technology features high-velocity focused heat that provides more even and consistent cooking and the highest quality output—all in a compact, ventless footprint.
Featuring up to four independent chambers, Vector ovens enable operators to control the temperature, fan speed and cook time in each individual oven chamber for maximum cooking flexibility. This allows operators to simultaneously cook a variety of menu items with no flavor transfer.
Additionally, Alto-Shaam’s pioneering Halo Heat® technology will be on display. Built within various holding equipment and Cook & Hold Ovens, Halo Heat technology provides operators with greater yields and less food waste, all at a lower operating cost. Unlike ‘traditional’ heated holding or low-temperature cooking technologies, Halo Heat eliminates the need for extremely hot elements, added humidity, or fans—leaving food full of moisture and flavor.
For those unable to attend AHHAR, Alto-Shaam has established two locations in India to showcase its suite of leading ‘complete kitchen’ solutions—with an additional location in the works.
In Mumbai, Alto-Shaam’s complete cook-chill banqueting system is on display. The flexible system includes all necessary components to support food production, chilling, thermalization, plate staging, and service. This integrated equipment allows operators to streamline production, reduce food preparation times and minimize labor costs while providing the highest quality output.
In Pune, a Vector H Series Multi-Cook Oven has been installed. This allows Alto-Shaam to demonstrate how this single, innovative oven can cook a wide variety of high-quality food without increasing labour costs—all in a ventless and waterless space. The third demo location will be in Bangalore.
The demo facilities follow the initial investment in the region—an exclusive chef ambassador program. The chef ambassador program started in 2019 and has grown at an expansional rate, now with nine esteemed chefs supporting various regions throughout India.
Chef Vijay K. Pawar, Alto-Shaam’s Regional Director of Sales and Culinary for India and Sri Lanka, says Alto-Shaam is committed to expanding its presence across the region: “It’s important for us to expand our reach across India, engaging with new potential customers and markets, as well as finding new ways to showcase and demonstrate our complete range of genuinely world-class foodservice equipment solutions.”
