Mandarin Orange Cake

Try something new to add a fresh, citrus twist to any dessert menu.


Flour 2 c.(473 ML) 
Sugar 2 c. (473 ML) 
Mandarin oranges 22 oz drained ( 650 ML) 
Eggs 2 
Baking Soda 2 tsp.(10 ML) 
Vanilla 1 tsp.(5 ML) 
Topping for cake 
Milk 6 T.(90ML) 
Butter 6 T. (90ML) 
Brown Sugar 1 ½ C. (355 ML)


Combine Flour, Sugar, Mandarin oranges ,Eggs, Baking Soda, Vanilla in a bowl 
Beat for 2 minutes 
Place in greased and floured 9x12 pan 
Bake 15-30 min @ 350 °F (176°C) 
Bring Milk, Butter, Brown Sugar to a Boil and simmer for 10 min. Spread on cake immediately after removing from oven
