Alto-Shaam Named a USA Today Top Workplace for the Third Year in a Row
Global foodservice manufacturer Alto-Shaam has been named a winner of the 2026 Top Workplaces USA Awards, ranking in the top 30 for large companies in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Alto-Shaam has once again been recognized as a USA Today Top Workplace, earning this distinction for the third consecutive year in the Large Employer category, which includes organizations with 350 or more employees.
The USA Today Top Workplaces awards recognize organizations that have built strong, people-first cultures. For the 2026 awards, more than 42,000 organizations across the United States were invited to participate, with winners selected entirely based on anonymous employee feedback gathered through an independent engagement survey administered by Energage. The survey measures key workplace experience factors that are proven to drive employee engagement and organizational performance.
“Earning a Top Workplace award is a celebration of excellence,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “It serves as a reminder of the vital role a people-first workplace experience plays in achieving success.”
As a global foodservice equipment manufacturer, Alto-Shaam supports customers in commercial kitchens around the world while maintaining a strong connection to its employees. With team members and operations spanning multiple regions, the company continues to innovate and deliver solutions that serve customers across dozens of countries, while fostering a workplace culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and shared purpose.
“Being recognized as a USA Today Top Workplace for the third year in a row speaks directly to the dedication of our employees,” said Steve Maahs, CEO of Alto-Shaam. “Our people are the foundation of everything we do—from how we innovate to how we support our customers globally. This recognition reinforces the importance of listening, investing in our teams, and continuing to build a culture where employees feel valued and empowered.”
