Salsa Verde
Easily prepare salsa verde by using the steam capabilities of your Combitherm oven.
Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs tomatillos without husks, washed
- ½ medium size white onion, cut into large chunks
- 2-3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2-3 serrano chiles, whole
- 5-6 branches cilantro
- Salt, pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon oregano
Preparation
- Steam all fresh ingredients in combi at 100C (212F) for 20 minutes at default settings
- Remove and let cool slightly.
- Place vegetables into blender, pureeing till almost smooth. Season with oregano, salt and pepper to taste.
